Embracing Life’s Seasons

Today I’m thankful for Fall. Yes, the season. I’ll admit this is the first Fall in my time in Canada that I’m really slowing down to enjoy the season.

You see, the transition from summer to fall used to fill me with a lot of anxiety. Anxiety over what fall would later usher in; our infamous Canadian winters. So much so that I never paused to see the beauty of the season, and we all know just how stunning the trees look as their leaves transition from green to anything between yellow and brown. And don’t get me started on fall fashion 🥰

But isn’t this just human nature? Getting anxious over what’s to come while there’s beauty right there in front of you.

Today I’m choosing to embrace life’s seasons as they come, and keeping Philippians 4:6 in mind; “Be anxious for nothing…”

Happy Thanksgiving 🇨🇦🍁

What are you grateful for?

Hey Iember! Thank you for this reminder. It’s a good one for overthinkers like me to pause and see the beauty in the present moments and to also know that there will be beauty in the coming moments. Be still and know…

    Happy Thanksgiving ❤

I can relate to the overthinking, Anita. And yes, there is beauty in every season. Thanks for reading.
